Thanks for visiting our site.

At our school we offer practical self protection classes in a safe and friendly environment.

It is our goal to help you find the answers you are seeking quickly and efficiently. let us know how we might improve your internet experience with us.

Please know while we care about our students, we are a martial arts training faciility. It is our goal to ensure the safety of our students but also for them to practice and train in such a way that they accomplish our goal of self defense competency. We are not a "karate" Class perse, or a babysitter. We can and do help children develop a better sense of discpline, focus, and respect. We meet our students where they are. But our main goal is to impart practical knowledge to you and your children that will keep them safe in today's world. This knowledge may include, topics such as "Stranger Danger", threat awareness and assessment, De-escalation techniques, and techniques that can take the life of an attacker. It may as well involve instruction in weapons defense and or use.

It is never our goal to cause injury or worse to another person, but rather tostop injury to ourselves and / or another person.

If you are not prepared to approach self defense from this perspective then we are not the place for you.

SCHOOL TUITION

While we have it posted on our site under policies & Tuition, for simplicity I will post our tuition here too.

Registration is a one time $99. It includes the student uniform, Belt, School Patch, Student manual, Sticker, and assorted information sheets.

Monthly Tuition is $125 per month

 

Annual Tuition is $100 per month.

 

2nd family member is 25% off of the program tuition you choose. 3rd familiy member and beyond receives a tuition discount of 50%.

We offer 5 classes per week per age group.

* The average student trains with us 2-3 times per week.

 

CHRIST FIRST

 We are a Christ centered martial arts self protection program.

What does that mean. Primarily it means that we are not going to teach mysticism in our program. Rather, we teach in a way that incorporates education in body science.

It also means that this is a ministry for us and we desire to see our students come to know and/or grow in knowledge and faith placed in the Lord Jesus.

We believe the Gospel or Good news about Jesus.

We believe that all mankind has sinned and falls short of God's standard for holiness.

We believe that as a result of this sin, we have a barrier between ourselves and God that can only be removed through the necessary payment of death. By this we imply first physical death and second spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God.

We believe that God has by His grace (not by our own merit or deeds) provided a way for mankind to become reconciled to Himself by providing a mediator. This mediator is Jesus, the Christ.

A mediator is a representative of both parties. In this case God and man. Jesus is the only one uniquely qualified to fill this position. As God incarnate He is both 100% man and 100% God and therefore able to represent both parties.

We believe that He was born into this world, lived a completely sinless life and having no sin to pay for for Himself, He was able to pay the price we owe for our sin, on our behalf.

We believe that He died on the cross taking our sin on Himself and yet having no sin of His own death had no power to hold Him and He was risen to life again.

We believe He is the one and only path that man can take to find reconciliation and peace with God.

We believe that He will in no way cast out any who come to Him.

We believe that if you ask Him, He will forgive you of your sins, cleanse you from all unrighteousness, and seal you with His Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

We believe that once you are saved the real enemy is defeated in your life, yet warfare now truly begins.

We believe that Jesus has set you free from sin. Now you are free to follow Him and to serve him with your life, rather than following after sinful behaviors.

We believe that the greatest expression of Christian life is NOT found in surrendering your will to serve God, rather the greatest expression of Christian life is when it IS your will to serve Him.

We believe there are only two groups of people, those who are true believers in Jesus (those saved) and those who are not (those lost).

We believe that God loves you and desires you to be with Him for all eternity.

We believe there is an eternity planned for both the saved and the lost.

We are told God is not slow about His promises as some count slowness. He is patient toward you not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

We believe that God is so in love with you that He sent His son to die in your place, so that you can live with Him.

We believe that if you repent (a sorrowful turn from your sinful life) and confess with your mouth Jesus as your Lord and believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead you too can be saved.

We believe that being a Christian has nothing to do with religion (man's attempts to reach God), it is about a relationship with Jesus (God's reaching out to man).

We would love to help you understand more, in fact, we would love to help you come to know Jesus in your life, if you dont know Him. And help you to grow in Him, if you do know Him as your Savior.

It also means that we start with prayer and end in prayer in our classes and our Christian students MUST memorize Bible verses for every belt level. This is not a requirement for our non-Christian students, but we encourage it

It means that we put Christian principles into practice, everything is upfront, no hidden costs. Relationships are more important then revenue. This is ministry for us not just a martial arts class.

It also, means that we expect our students to actually earn their belts. We do not give them away every couple of months. Every student is different and learns at a different pace. Our students can test as they are ready.

Having said that, we do have non-Christian students from a variety of religious and non religious backgrounds.
